Thurles Cookbook Club

a place for food lovers to meet

This cookbook club is a community-minded monthly gathering of cooking enthusiasts from around the Thurles area. We meet at The Green Sheep Cafe to discuss a different cookbook each month, and share a meal made from the recipes in the cookbook.

Each member will look through the cookbook and choose one dish to make and bring to the meeting. Wine and beer will be provided and, after the book discussion, we’ll all sit down to a delicious meal.

Members will pay a monthly maintenance/wine/venue fee of €10. Everyone is welcome; the only prerequisite is that you must love food and conversation.
